SAN ANTONIO — Hours after an AMBER Alert was issued for two young DeWitt County boys Wednesday morning, they were found safe at a north-side apartment complex, authorities say.

The man accused of taking them, 24-year-old Julian Ribera, dropped them off at their residence before fleeing the area, leaving the car reported in the AMBER Alert abandoned nearby. San Antonio police searched for Ribera but wasn't able to find him.

Police continue searching for the alleged abductor, Julian Ribera, who has previously faced charges in Bexar County.

The two boys, ages 4 and 5, were reunited with their guardian after a resident at the complex in the 8700 block of Village Drive called police.

The AMBER Alert was initially issued early Wednesday morning after the two boys disappeared from a home in Yorktown, Texas, located about 76 miles southeast of San Antonio.
