HOUSTON — Strong overnight storms in Southeast Texas prompted several schools to delay their starts or cancel classes altogether.
Here's a list of Houston-area school districts that have adjusted their schedules or canceled classes:
- Goose Creek CISD will have a two-hour delay
- Barbers Hill ISD will have a two-hour delay
- Texas City ISD will have a two-hour delay
- Corrigan-Camden ISD will have a two-hour delay
- Shepherd ISD will have a one-hour delay
- Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD will have a one-hour delay
- Trinity ISD will be closed Monday
- Madisonville CISD will be closed Monday
- Goodrich ISD will be closed Monday
