HUMBLE, Texas - A woman was struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning after she jumped out of a moving car during an argument.
The accident happened around 1 a.m. in the 1200 block of Atascocita Road.
The Houston Police Department said the woman and a man were arguing in their car when the woman unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car while it was still moving.
The woman was then immediately hit by a grey or silver Nissan Frontier truck. The driver of that vehicle did not stop, according to police.
Charges are pending for the driver who drove away from the scene.
Police said the man and woman are both being tested for intoxication. Police did not say how serious here injuries were.
