HOUSTON - A man on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list has been captured in Houston.
Charles Simpson, 48, was wanted for parole violation and failure to comply as a sex offender. Working off of tip information, police located Simpson in an area north of downtown.
In 1990, Simpson was convicted in Harris County of sexual assault. In 1993, he was convicted of delivery of a controlled substance. He was put on parole in 2006 and has been wanted since January 2016.
