HOUSTON - A man being chased by a deputy in west Houston early Saturday morning pulled over and fire at the deputy.
The chase began Saturday morning when the suspect would not pull over on Highway 6 near the Katy Freeway.
The suspect driving a gold Buick hit speeds of 90 mph, ran a red light and eventually hit a minivan. He finally got out of the vehicle after hitting a glass front door of a business on Highway 6.
Officials say the suspect pulled out a gun and shot at the deputy who was not hurt.
The suspect left the scene.
