UPDATE: The lockdown at GCM is over. A student has been taken into custody for making a non specific threat on social media. There were no weapons involved and no one was injured. All students and staff are safe.

BAYTOWN, Texas – District officials say Goose Creek Memorial High School has been placed on lockdown due to a “non-specific threat” made to the campus Thursday morning.
District officials say that during the lockdown, no one is permitted to enter or exit the campus.
