STAFFORD, Texas — Nobody knows why a gunman opened fire on 23-year-old Marshan Parker three years ago. He was found dead inside his car in a busy Stafford intersection.

Now Stafford police are asking for the public’s help in solving this cold case and bringing closure to the young victim’s family.

It happened early in the morning on June 18, 2015. Police were called to the intersection of the US 59 feeder road and W. Airport.

Witnesses told them a car drove up next to Parker’s red Ford Focus and fired several shots. They couldn’t provide a description of the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle, other than it was “dark-colored.”

Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and charging of suspect.

Anyone with information in the case should call Crime Stoppers at 281-342 TIPS (8477).
