AUSTIN, Texas — A 2-year-old boy who had last been seen in San Marcos has been located safe and well, the San Marcos Police Department said on Sunday morning.
An AMBER Alert was issued on Saturday for Legend Torres, who had last been seen at 1 p.m. It was believed Torres was abducted by 46-year-old Joey Torres.
At approximately 1:50 a.m., Legend was found in the Dallas area along with Torres, SMPD said.
SMPD identified the vehicle Torres was driving and worked with the Dallas Police Department to locate it. The vehicle was found at an apartment complex, where both the suspect and the child were found.
Torres is now in custody.
