Road rage suspect accused of ramming woman’s vehicle multiple times near Tomball

A witness is credited with alerting a Precinct 4 deputy about the scary road rage incident on Tomball Parkway

TOMBALL, Texas — A man accused of terrorizing another driver on Tomball Parkway early Monday is in custody, according to Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.

Matthew Christopher, 21, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the road rage case.

Investigators say a Precinct 4 deputy saw Christopher speeding down Tomball Parkway around midnight. He tried to pull him over but the driver kept going before losing control and striking a pole.

A witness at the crash scene told the deputy that Christopher was involved in a road rage incident near Spring Cypress Road and intentionally rammed a woman’s vehicle multiple times before taking off.

The witness said he followed Christopher from that scene.

It’s not clear if the road rage victim was hurt.
