HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man was shot and killed Thursday in north Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Authorities at the scene said the man was shot by his stepson. The shooter was taken into custody. It happened at a house along Regal Hollow Lane, which is just east of the North Freeway and south of FM 1960.
After being shot, the man was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown but investigators said they both lived at the house.
