Houston police looking for gunman who shot and killed McDonald's customer on Katy Freeway

HPD homicide detectives said there was some sort of argument before the victim was shot Saturday night.

HOUSTON — A man was shot and killed at a westside McDonald's over the weekend, according to Houston police. 

It happened around 6 p.m. Saturday in the 8100 block of the Katy Freeway near Chimney Rock.

HPD Homicide Detective S. Chettrey said there was some sort of argument before the shooting. 

The 46-year-old victim was shot multiple times and died at the scene. His name hasn't been released.

Police said the gunman escaped in an early 2000s blue Ford pickup. 

It's not clear if the victim and shooter knew each other.
