BAYTOWN, Texas -- By the time Ignacio Cruz realized what was happening, it was already too late.

"I was coming out of my house," said Cruz, standing next to his pickup truck in the driveway of his Baytown home. "I open the door like this. I see something and there's a guy dressed in camouflage."

The man was also wearing a mask and pointing a gun at Cruz's head.

"He shoved me to the other side and pushed me," said Cruz. "So I'm like wait a minute. Wait a minute. Hold on. Hold on."

Cruz says the guy tied him up with duct tape, forced him to the floor of his truck and then drove to several nearby ATMs using Cruz's debit cards to make withdrawals.

"He had the gun on me the whole time."

After several minutes, the guy drove Cruz back to his neighborhood and ran away from the truck. But before he did, It appears he let Cruz in on a little secret.

Cruz says the suspect told him he had robbed him before, almost two years ago when he was coming out of his house.

"He said I got you for 1700 dollars last time and I need 2000 dollars this time."

Police have released surveillance images of the suspect taken at an ATM. But they haven't arrested him yet. And now Cruz is leaving nothing to chance.

"I have a 9 millimeter," said Cruz. "I can't take any chances. He's been watching me. He knows my routine."

And now, Cruz feels forced to move out.

"I'm scared of being in my own home," said Cruz.
