HOUSTON — A man was shot to death in a north Houston home Thursday night while on a Facetime call with his girlfriend, according to the Houston Police Department.
This happened at a home on Hage Street near I-69 in north Houston around 8:40 p.m.
HPD said the man was talking to his girlfriend when he told her something was wrong. That's when police say he was shot in his chest twice in his living room.
Officers interviewed witnesses at the scene and HPD said they hope surveillance video from the home will help them identify a suspect or suspects. It's unclear how the shooter was able to get into the house or what the motive was.
