HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Detectives are searching for clues after a man was found shot to death just outside of a northwest Harris County apartment complex overnight.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a call of a shooting around 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Brisas del Mar apartments located at Bammelwood and Bammel Village.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a man shot an unknown number of times on the porch of one of the units.
Homicide detectives said the victim did not have any identification and appeared to be an undocumented immigrant.
There were several other people in the apartment at the time, all of whom do not speak English and all are undocumented, deputies said.
Detectives said they do not have a suspect or a motive at this time. They have taken several witnesses downtown to interview with a Spanish speaking officer.
