RICHMOND, Texas — The Richmond man accused of killing his wife and fleeing the state with their two children was arrested overnight in Louisiana, deputies confirm.
The shooting happened late Tuesday in the 19200 block of Mustang Pointe in the Grand Mission neighborhood of Richmond.
Investigators in Fort Bend County say Quang Do, 37, killed Jenihonganh Nguyen before fleeing with their children to the St. Martin Parish area of Louisiana.
Deputies there were alerted and were able to locate Do at a home. A SWAT team was called in and Do was taken into custody. The children, ages 1 and 3, were located safe inside the residence.
Deputies said a weapon was also recovered when he was taken into custody.
Do is now in jail on $250,000 bond.
