Weighted blankets are extremely popular. They’re designed to feel like a hug to help people suffering from insomnia, anxiety and ADHD among other things.

But one of the biggest complaints about the extra weight is that sleepers get hot. So, we found a weighted cooling blanket to test.

Our purchase was the YNM cooling weighted blanket made of 100 percent natural bamboo viscose. We purchased the 20-pound weight that fits a queen-sized bed.

Taylor Jackson volunteered to help. She suffers from two autoimmune disorders and sleeps hot.

Taylor slept with the blanket for three nights and reported back with positive new.

"It didn't feel heavy nor warm it just kept me regulated,” said Taylor. “In the morning, I got up and wanted to put my robe on. Normally I want to shower because I feel so sweaty and gross."

The recommended weight to buy is 10 percent of your body weight. Taylor opted for a slightly heavier blanket and was glad she did.

We paid $161 on Amazon for the blanket.
