The countdown to Christmas is on as people head to the stores for their last-minute holiday shopping. But if you forget something, there are stores that will be open on Christmas Day to help you out! There will also be plenty of stores that'll be closed, though.

Stores open on Christmas Day

- CVS (Many CVS Pharmacy locations will operate with normal hours on Christmas, but some non-24 locations may be closed or have reduced hours.)
- H Mart
- Starbucks (Many Starbucks locations will be open on Christmas, but hours can vary)
- Walgreens (Most Walgreens stores will have adjusted hours of 9am-5pm on Christmas Day. All 24-hour locations will continue to remain open. You can double-check local hours here.)

Is Walmart open on Christmas?
The country's largest retailer is closed on Christmas Day. Stores will be open on Christmas Eve, but most locations will close at 6 p.m. local time.
Is Target open on Christmas?
No, Target stores are not open on Christmas Day. Most stores are open from 7 a.m. to midnight through Dec. 23 and from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve. All stores will reopen at their regular times on Dec. 26.
Is Costco open on Christmas?
No, Costco locations are not open on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023. It is open on Christmas Eve from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Is H-E-B open on Christmas?
H-E-B is closed on Christmas Day in 2023.
It is open on Christmas Eve from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Curbside closes at 7 p.m., home delivery closes at 6 p.m. and the pharmacy closes at 6 p.m.
Is H Mart open on Christmas Day?
Yes, H Mart is open on Christmas Day. The locations we called were open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Is Kroger open on Christmas?
Kroger announced it will close its stores on Christmas in 2023. Kroger will be open Christmas Eve, but the grocer recommends calling ahead for hours as they may close early.
The Kroger brand includes Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Foods Co, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, Jay C Food Store, King Soopers, Kroger, Mariano’s, Metro Market, Pay-Less Super Markets, Pick’n Save, QFC, Ralphs, Ruler, and Smith’s Food and Drug.
Is Aldi closed on Christmas?
Aldi stores will be closed on Christmas Day, but stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
