Details revealed for the 74th annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner will serve as grand marshal. Rockets legends Rudy Tomjanovich and Calvin Murphy will be co-grand marshals.

HOUSTON — It’s a Houston tradition and now we know more about this year's H-E-B Thanksgiving Day parade.

The city revealed plans for the event during a news conference Thursday. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner will serve as the grand marshal, while Houston Rockets’ legends Rudy Tomjanovich and Calvin Murphy will be the co-grand marshals.

If you can’t make it out to the parade, you can watch it on KHOU 11 and KHOU 11+ live on Thanksgiving morning at 9 a.m., with replays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The TSU Ocean of Soul marching band will kick things off. The Tyler Junior College Apache Belles are back this year and you’ll see a performance from Theatre Under Stars’ production of Cinderella.

In all, the parade consists of 19 floats, 14 balloons, six marching bands and eight performances.

H-E-B is the title sponsor.  The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Highland Village and Citgo are also sponsors.

Great Day Houston’s Deborah Duncan and KHOU 11 anchor Ron Treviño will call the parade, with reporter Ugochi Iloka reporting from the route.

You can see a map of the parade route here.
