Brazoria Co. SPCA needs help for puppy who suffered two broken legs

The Brazoria County SPCA is asking for help for a little puppy who broke both of his legs and was given up by his owner.

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas — The Brazoria County SPCA says an injured puppy was brought to them after its owner could no longer care for him.

The puppy, named Chi Chi, broke both of his legs, and they are not healing properly.

According to the SPCA, the pup's vet told his owner he should either amputate Chi Chi's legs or euthanize him.

The owner said he ran out of funds and surrendered Chi Chi to the shelter.

The SPCA is hoping with the public's help, they can afford to save Chi Chi's legs and provide a better quality of life.

The SPCA posted Chi Chi's story on their Facebook page on Tuesday.
