'The Wizard of Oz' returning to theaters for a limited time

The movie will play at several Houston area theaters from Jan. 27 through Jan. 30.

HOUSTON — We’re off to see the wizard… on the big screen!

The Wizard of Oz is returning to theaters at the end of January for a limited time. It’s all to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the classic film.

The movie will play at several Houston area theaters from Jan. 27 through Jan. 30.

The local theaters showing the ‘The Wizard of Oz’ are:

  • Regal Greenway Grand Palace Stadium 24
  • Regal Houston Marq*E Stadium 23
  • Memorial City Mall
  • AMC Willowbrook 24
