Tech Reporter Doug Delony returned to Great Day Houston to discuss technology headlines with host Deborah Duncan. First, Doug showed a new device from Palm that works as a smaller substitute for a your full size phone when you need it to fit in a pocket or travel. Doug also highlighted a kickstarter for a phone that teaches by instructing how to assemble and code it. The Makerphone is available both fully built and ready to code, as well as in a kit of pieces. Doug previewed special heads up display glasses that offer messaging, GPS directions, and more, called Focals by North. Last, Doug explained the upcoming incorporation of solar panels in car roofs to power devices and help with other power needs to increase efficiency.
