HOUSTON — Stephen Goin joined the KHOU 11 News team in December 2023.
Most recently, Stephen worked for FOX News as a multimedia reporter based in Cleveland, OH. In that role, he traveled across the country - appearing on FOX local stations, FOX Weather and FNC. He covered a number of breaking stories at the network, including the Top’s supermarket mass shooting in Buffalo, NY; the toxic train derailment in East Palestine, OH; and the deadliest tornado outbreak in Kentucky history in Mayfield, KY. He also embedded with U.S. Senate candidates in Ohio while assisting with the network’s 2022 midterm election coverage.
Before that, Stephen was a reporter at WAVE 3 News in Louisville, KY and WJFW in Rhinelander, WI. He started his career behind the scenes as a public relations assistant at MSNBC in New York, NY.
Stephen is excited to be back in Texas, especially the southeast - he grew up in Kingwood and later moved to Livingston, TX. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in Government. He also holds a master’s in Strategic Communication from Columbia University in New York.
