HOUSTON - Three people were injured in a drive-by shooting in south Houston Sunday evening, according to authorities.
Around 7 p.m., two men were shot at Sunnyside Park on Bellfort near Scott Street. The victims drove to a nearby gas station for help but the gunmen followed them there, according to Houston Police.
The suspects opened fire again once the victims had made it inside the gas station, this time hitting a third person.
The third person injured was an employee working at the gas station. He was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The other two men suffered gunshot wounds to the face and to the leg. They were also taken to the hospital.
It is unclear what led to the shooting or if the victims knew the suspects.
Officers have not released any descriptions of the suspects at this time.
