Houston forecast: Hermine's rain moves out, heat moves back in
Updated today at 7:05 AM
HOUSTON – It is almost time to put those umbrellas away. The last rain from Hermine is moving out Thursday and an old friend is returning, "Hello, heat!"
"We are going to be drying out for the next several days," 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said. "But it is going to be hot and humid, so there’s the trade off."
High temperatures today will max out at a muggy 92 degrees. We still have a 30-percent chance of seeing scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon, then the weather will begin to clear.
It’s going to feel more like summer as we head toward the weekend with lows in the upper70s, highs in the mid-90s and slim chances for rain.
