The NFL released its schedule for games in England for the 2018 season, and the Houston Texans are not traveling across the pond in the upcoming campaign.
There was some thought the Texans could wind up being a road team for a team playing one of its “home” games at either Wembley Stadium or Tottenham, both famed soccer arenas. But the schedule revealed no overseas games.
Houston has never played in London, though the Texans did play a game in Mexico. The Texans lost to the Oakland Raiders 27-20 in Estadio Azteca in Mexico City in the 2016 season in front of a raucous crowd.
There will be another game in Estadio Azteca in 2018, but the team facing the Los Angeles Rams has not been announced yet. The Texans do not play the Rams next year, so they will not be the opponent.
