MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — Emergency officials are responding to a 31-car train derailment in northwest Montgomery County on Monday.
The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management confirmed that the cars were loaded with limestone and that there are no reports of hazardous materials. There is no threat to the community.
This happened in Dacus. There are no reports of injuries or needs for road closures at this time.
