GALVESTON, Texas — A late night fishing trip went all wrong for a Tomball man Wednesday night.
The Galveston Police Department had to retrieve the man’s red Ford F-150 and boat trailer out of the water at a boat ramp after it backed into the water at Jamail Bay Park around 10:20 p.m.
The man had just launched his boat and was docking it when he said he “saw the truck slipping,” Sgt. Xavier Hancock with Galveston PD said.
Both truck and trailer were fully submerged. The Galveston PD’s dive team helped find the truck, which was pulled out by a tow truck.
No one was injured.
