HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Officials are investigating after a plane crashed near Hockley Saturday afternoon.
Texas DPS troopers said the crash happened near Highway 290 and Kickapoo Road. Investigators said the pilot and passenger were not injured.
The FAA released the following statement:
"A single-engine Just Aircraft Highlander made a forced landing in a cornfield near Waller, Texas, around 2:50 p.m.local time today. Two people were aboard. The FAA will investigate."
