Deputies: Man arrested after hacking into social media accounts, threatening girls

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - A man was arrested on Wednesday and has been accused of hacking into social media accounts to threaten girls, deputies say.

According to the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable's Office, Toby Holcomb, 26, has been charged with Online Impersonation which is a Third Degree Felony.

Deputies say Holcomb would hack into social media accounts and send messages to girls. The victim's ages were not released by authorities. Deputies said Holcomb would tell the girls he had nude pictures of them and that he was going to post the photos online if they did not send him more photos.

Deputies with the Constable's Office and the Montgomery County ICAC (Internet Crime Against Children) task force ran a search warrant on Aberdeen Drive in Magnolia on Wednesday and arrested Holcomb.

The Precinct 5 Constables office is reaching out to the public to find out if there are any more victims in this case.
