Extra police patrols expected for Tax-free Weekend
During the annual Sales Tax Holiday on August 9-11, Texans can buy most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks tax free. Each item must be under $100 to be eligible. If you hit the malls, you might notice a larger police presence.
