SPCA receives dozens of newborn kittens, in need of volunteer help

The Houston SPCA is looking for volunteers to help care for newborn kittens.

HOUSTON - The Houston SPCA is asking for the public's help in caring for dozens of newborn kittens brought in to the shelter recently.

The shelter says the kittens, who were dropped off at the adoption center, are in need of round-the-clock care.

The SPCA is looking for volunteers to help care for the kittens. The little ones need to be fed every two hours until they are old enough to be adopted, the shelter says.

If you can't make it to the shelter, they are holding a "virtual baby shower" with an Amazon wish list.

You can find the wish list here.

Anyone interested in volunteering or would like more information should email: volunteer@houstonspca.org or call 713-869-7722.
