BAYTOWN, Texas - Officials confirm a 10-year-old boy was hit by a school bus in Baytown Wednesday afternoon.
Goose Creek CISD says the injuries are non-life threatening but the child was taken to the hospital by Life Flight.
Officials say the young boy ran out in front of the bus near the 1500 block of Squire Drive and got hit. Witnesses tell KHOU 11 that the young boy was chasing a ball and the bus ran over his leg.
The driver of the school bus stayed on scene. The bus had students on board, according to officials.
