Big area of low pressure out of the Pacific will move through the area late Friday evening through the morning hours on Saturday. Widespread rain amounts between 2-5 inches but isolated amounts upwards of 6-8 inches will be possible. Not only will heavy rain be a threat but strong, damaging winds and an isolated tornado will also be possible.


The big area of low pressure sitting in the Pacific will impact the entire state of California today and tomorrow. Rain and snow will impact the west coast region. Here locally winds will be breezy today and after that area of low pressure passes this weekend another big drop in our temperatures will happen for the weekend and next week.


On our 7 day forecast we are starting cold once again with 30's almost widespread. This afternoon clouds will start to build in and that will help to keep the forecast a little more mild for our Thursday and early Friday. The strong storms will move in Late Friday evening through Saturday morning.
