HOUSTON — If you've been waiting for "football weather" to catch up with football season, tonight's your night!

Of all the factors playing out with Friday's cold front, the wind will have the greatest impact on how cold it feels.

Temps will drop from near 80 in the morning into the 50s by late afternoon.

And while 50-degree temperatures are not THAT cold, with a north wind gusting above 30 mph, it will feel much colder than it actually is.

Anyone sitting in the stands will be very happy to have a sweater, jacket, blanket and cup of hot chocolate to stay warm.

There may also be a few light sprinkles in the early evening, just to add to the wind-blown chill.
