Rain chances are in the forecast, but very minimal compared to what we saw this past week with Imelda.
Expected scattered sea breeze showers both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the low 90s. The best chance for rain will be after 1pm. A few thunderstorms will be possible but no flash flooding is expected with these storms.
An upper level disturbance will increase rain chances a bit on Monday to a 40% chance of rain. It's also the 'Autumnal' Equinox, which is the official start to Fall. Problem is, it won't feel like Fall at all here in Houston.
Long range computer models suggest that our first taste of Fall-like weather may not come until the first week of October. Until then, we sweat!
There are several spots we're watching out in the Atlantic. But at this time, none of them are forecast to threaten the United States.
