Hope you are able to get out and enjoy the summer evening breeze.

Sunday will bring highs in the low 90's, heat index readings in the 102-105 degree range and a few scattered thunderstorms each afternoon. Typical Houston summer stuff.

Check out the heat alerts in place north and northeast of Houston. Extreme heat will impact folks form the central plains to New England this weekend. New York City may see triple digit temperatures, which has not happened since 2012.
