HOUSTON — We're looking at a big chance for rain this week, especially Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Flash flooding is possible mid-week as a tropical wave moves in from the Gulf of Mexico. At this point it's too soon to say exactly which parts of the Houston area will get the most rain or flash flooding, if any. The heaviest rain is expected on the west side with rain totals in excess of four inches for the week.
