A ridge of high pressure is moving in and setting up shop through at least the weekend. This will bring our next stretch of summertime heat. Highs will range from the mid to upper 90 for the next several days but keep in mind that feels like temperatures will be well in the triple digits.
Our highest temperature that we've seen so far this year is 97° and I think we will be close to hitting that beginning Friday- weekend. Can you believe we haven't hit that triple digit mark yet?! If you thought we already did... probably because we've been feeling well above 100 for a few months now.
Make sure you are staying hydrated, listening to your body, and giving yourself plenty of breaks in the shade if you need to be outdoors.
Rain chances will be slim to non through the next seven days with spotty sea breeze showers as our only saving grace giving brief moments of rain cooled air.
