MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A crash involving a big rig and at least one other vehicle closed all southbound lanes of I-45 North for several hours Monday morning.
Houston TranStar reported the crash happened just after 3 a.m. near FM 3083, just north of Conroe.
At about 6:30 a.m. TXDoT confirmed the freeway would remain closed for a "few more hours" due to a hazmat spill.
All traffic was being forced off just north of Conroe, leading to about an hour-long delay.
The freeway reopened at about 10:30 a.m.
