TxDOT reopens all southbound lanes of I-45 after pavement repairs

The two-mile stretch between Crosstimbers to Cavalcade was expected to be closed until Monday but reopened Saturday morning.

HOUSTON — A two-mile stretch of I-45 reopened Saturday morning after crews completed pavement repairs.

Crews shut down inbound lanes of the North Freeway between Crosstimbers St. to Cavalcade St. Friday night but weren't expected to be done until Monday. TxDOT tweeted Saturday morning that the repairs were complete.

Meanwhile, for those coming from east Houston, the I-10 westbound ramp to I-69 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closure will repeat every night over the weekend.
