HOUSTON -- Don't let your weekend plans get snarled by roadwork, especially on the east side where two big closures are planned for the weekend of Nov. 30 to Dec. 2.
All westbound/inbound lanes of I-10 East will be closed as you head toward Houston through the Channelview area. In addition, Highway 225 will be closed in both directions in the Deer Park area. Both closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday with all traffic being forced to the frontage road.
There's also an alert below for those of you traveling in the Galleria area looking to connect to I-69/the Southwest Freeway.
