HOUSTON – Two Houston-area Olympic athletes were given a very warm welcome home Wednesday morning at Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The Cypress Creek drumline and drill team made some serious noise for Sarah Robles and Chris Brooks.

Brooks was the captain for the men's gymnastics team and went to Cypress Creek High School.

Robles took home a bronze medal for weightlifting – lifting 352 pounds – making her the highest-ranked women's weightlifter in the United States.

“There's nothing better,” Robles said. She currently lives in Houston and trains in League City after moving here from Arizona.

The first thing these two hope to do today?

“Shower, sleep then eat some What-a-burger,” Brooks said.

Welcome back!
