Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan is a popular man this offseason. According to several outlets including Tom Pelissero of NFL.com, Ryan will interview for the vacant Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator job.

Ryan earlier interviewed for the same position with the Cleveland Browns. The Browns opted to hire Todd Haley instead.

The 45-year-old Ryan is entering his third season in Houston. He was the team’s wide receivers coach in 2016 before moving to the QBs last season. Prior to his Texans tenure he also coached both of those position groups with the New York Giants.

As Pelissero notes, Ryan is currently occupied coaching the quarterbacks on the South roster at the Senior Bowl.
