Katy kindergartners celebrate J.J. Watt Day

Thursday was the 99th day of school at Sundown Elementary so the kids celebrated by honoring #99.

HOUSTON — A Cinco Ranch teacher is always looking for creative ways to teach her young students at Sundown Elementary in Katy.

Thursday was their 99th day in class, so what better way to celebrate than #99 himself: J.J. Watt?

The children in Ms. Henson's class formed the number 99 on the playground.

They also colored JJ pictures and wrote about him. A few samples: JJ Watt is strong; he is brave; he is cool.

JJ retweeted the post from Ms. Henson's class saying, "Haha this is awesome! Much love to everyone over there at Sundown! I hope you had a great 99th day of school!"
