Rockets' season ends with 119-96 loss to Lakers in Game 5 of Western Conference semifinals

Houston took Game 1 of the series, but the Lakers won the next four to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

HOUSTON — The Houston Rockets' season came to an end Saturday night after a 119-96 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals.

LeBron James is headed to the conference finals, and the Los Angeles Lakers are going there for the first time in a decade.

Houston took Game 1 of the series, but the Lakers won the next four to advance to the Western Conference Finals where they will face either the Denver Nuggets or the Los Angeles Clippers.
