Houston Astros make 4 selections in 2020 MLB Draft

The team selected Alex Santos in the second round, Tyler Brown in the third round, Zach Daniels in the fourth round and Shay Whitcomb in the fifth round.

HOUSTON — The Houston Astros selected four players Thursday night in the 2020 Major League Baseball Draft.

The team selected right-handed pitcher Alex Santos in the second round, right-handed pitcher Tyler Brown in the third round, outfielder Zach Daniels in the fourth round and shortstop Shay Whitcomb in the fifth round.

The Astros were stripped of their first- and second-round draft picks after the 2017 sign-stealing scandal.
