Astros hosting Street Festivals for home games; Watch Parties for away games

The Astros are hosting Watch Parties for the road games -- but you need to act now to score a voucher!

HOUSTON — The Astros Wednesday announced postseason party plans for home and away games.

There will be Street Festivals before the ALDS home games Friday and Saturday between the Astros and the Indians.

Friday’s festival is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Saturday’s will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

They’ll be held on Crawford Street in front of Minute Maid Park.

The festivals are free but you’ll need a game ticket to get in.

Minute Maid is also the place to be for away games on Monday and Tuesday.

The Astros are hosting Postseason Watch Parties at the ballpark.

They’ll show the game on the videoboard inside Minute Maid and outside on the Plaza on Crawford Street.

Fans must claim a FREE admissions voucher via the Ballpark App in order to attend the event.

Gates for the Watch Parties will open two hours before the first pitch.

The Street Festivals and Watch Parties will include:

  • Caricature artists
  • Appearances from Shooting Stars and Orbit
  • Inflatables
  • Photo booth
  • Bar games
  • Large video screen in the plaza to watch the pregame show and the Astros game
  • Access to team store
