The Pearland Oilers began fall practice Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, in preparation for the 2017 high school football season.

Hurricane Harvey brings a halt to Pearland Oilers fall camp

Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas Gulf Coast just six days before the Pearland Oilers season-opener. Coach James Farmer and the players were forced to shift their focus and come up with another game plan. One Oiler, senior defensive back Brian Jackson, lost his home to the devastating flooding that hit the Houston area.
