HOUSTON — Southeast Texas is under a Wind Advisory Wednesday morning as a cold front brings strong wind gusts to our area.

We have already one report of a downed tree in the 400 block of Wilcrest. The tree is blocking the northbound lanes heading toward Interstate 10/Katy Freeway.

This happened around 3:30 a.m.

Houston firefighters reported that the tree was too big for them to remove so another city service has to come out to remove the tree.

It is not known how long the northbound lanes will be shut down

All northbound traffic is being diverted at Apple Tree Road.

Parts of North Texas are already experiencing Wednesday's cold front with report of storm and wind damage in some communities.

One injury has already been report in Cleburne after a modular home was blown over on its side.
