Artist gives inside look at 'Alice in Wonderland' sculpture in Bellaire park

The massive Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is perfect for kids to unpack a picnic lunch and explore.

HOUSTON — As we continue our tour of free fun adventures over Spring Break, we decided to drop in on Alice in Wonderland.

She’s made a new home in Bellaire, at Evelyn’s Park at 4004 Bellaire Boulevard.

It took local artist Bridgette Mongeon three years to create the project, from conception to completion.

The massive Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is perfect for kids to unpack a picnic lunch and explore.

150 designs are hidden in the artwork for adults and kids to find.

Log on to www.AliceSculpture.com to download the free detective book to help locate the little treasures.

The artist is also holding a selfie contest.

Snap a creative picture with the sculpture and tag BridgetteMongeon.

She’ll send Alice In Wonderland themed art designs to the winners! Good luck!
